Meeting in UK at the Nottingham Trent University, 9-10 May 2016
C-Motion is pleased to announce CMUG-UK, C-Motion User Group Meeting UK on
10th May 2016. Prof. Mary Nevill has kindly volunteered to host this free
of charge single day event at Nottingham Trent University.
So if you haven’t reserved your place yet please do so below.
The event will take place in the Department of Sport Science in the School of Science and Technology and Prof. Nevill will introduce her team and their areas of research.
We have also lined up fabulous keynote presentations, from Dr Natalie Vanicek (University of Hull) on “Gait analysis to inform exercise prescription in lower limb amputees in Hull” and Dr Mark Robinson (Liverpool John Moores University) on “Can we realistically establish biomechanical risk factors for ACL injury?”
In addition to all of that, Dr Cleveland Barnett, Dr Richard Foster, and Dr Martin Lewis are going present selected NTU research projects which will also allow us to see the lab setup as well.
You will also get the chance to ask any relevant questions of Scott Selbie or Tom Kepple regarding C-Motion, Visual3D or any other biomechanical issues you may have.
Also, as part of the pre-conference CMUG activities, C-Motion will be holding a free of charge Workshop/Training Training session on 9 May 2016. Tom Kepple will provide an insight into many topics, from Inverse Kinematics, constrained motion to event sequences, using the CMO Library, and Understanding the Recalc pipeline. This will be a high level Visual3D session with practical examples, so don’t forget your laptop. The workshop agenda is detailed here.
These are two opportunities that should not be missed. Select one of the following application forms (or both) and return to email@example.com without delay as we have a limited number of seats available”.
