CMUG-Overview

Note: The conference room changed to a bigger one - see the logistics tab.

The meeting is being graciously hosted by one of C-Motion's corporate customers in China, and will be held at the Xtep Sports Science and Engineering Laboratory in the Xtep Operation's Building in Xiamen, China. (See the map in the Logistics tab).

This CMUG event will be more like an extended workshop rather than having the more traditional guest speakers. C-Motion will go through the process from data collection to model building, signal and event creation, and finally presenting a report in Visual3D.

During the two days, Scott Selbie, PhD and Alan De Asha, PhD from C-Motion will go through the process from data collection to model building, signal and event creation, and finally presenting a report in Visual3D.

In addition, Scott will describe new and exciting features in Visual3D and our latest software, DSX, which allows users to process dynamic stereo X-ray images.

Xtep Sports Science and Engineering Laboratory
3rd Floor,Xtep Shijidasha, #7
Yilan Road
Guanyinshan Operation Center

Xiamen, P.R. China

The new building is a three minute walk from the main company building, so the plan is to meet in the new conference room for welcome coffee and short introduction on Monday, walk over to our laboratory for illustration of data collection, walk back to the new conferecne room and have everything there until Tuesday evening.

Lunch and Dinner will be on the 25th floor in the same building of the conference room, so pretty easy access to everything.
Breakfast cannot be served, however, upon arrival in the two mornings we will be able to cater coffee, tea, water, and some snacks.

This is on the Eastern side of the city, near to the airport and beach. There are numerous hotels nearby.
